Our monthly member meetings meet the second
Thursday of every month at Noon. The location of each meeting

Our Mission:
The Back Mountain Business Association advocates
and promotes the enhancement of the Back Mountain community.
Through the marketing, monetary and voluntary support of its
members, the Association will actively pursue the goal of
significantly improving the quality of life and the economic
development of our community.
Our History
In the Spring of 1992, a small
group of business owners from the Back Mountain, Pennsylvania
area, came together to discuss the idea of forming a local
organization comprised of business and professional people.
Just a few months after its inception, the Back Mountain Business
Association had dozens of members, and a calendar of events.

Winter
2007 Luncheon Series Announced!
DALLAS, PA - Following a very successful Fall
Human Resources Luncheon Series, the Back Mountain Business
Association (BMBA) will kick-off a new Winter 2007 "Members
Speak" Luncheon Series at Peking Chef, Dallas, on Thursday,
January 11th at noon, for "The Importance of Birding,"
with Karen Yarrish, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited.
To
continue with this informative monthly series, on Thursday,
February 8th, come to Ragz Restaurant in the Twin Stacks Center,
Dallas, at noon for "Gems! Gems! Gems!" with Elva
Valentine, owner of Valentine's Jewelry, Route 309, Dallas.
On Thursday, March 8th, lunch will be served
at the Irem Temple Country Club, Dallas, at noon, and Joe
Chlubicki, owner of Jungle Computer, Luzerne, will speak about
"Business Websites."

at Ragz Restaurant, in the Twin Stacks Center, Dallas.

to network while enjoying lunch; and the "Members Speak"
Series is a great way to become acquainted with other members.
